Frequently asked questions
Can I combine JPG and PNG images in the same PDF?
Yes. You can mix JPG, JPEG and PNG files in the selected list. Each image becomes one page in the displayed order. Use the arrow buttons to rearrange pages before creating the PDF. Other image formats must be converted to a supported format first.
How does Fit to image determine the PDF page size?
Fit to image uses each image's pixel width and height as PDF points, then adds the chosen margin on every side. Different image dimensions can therefore produce different page sizes. Orientation is disabled in this mode; choose A4 or Letter if you need a standard paper size.
What does Automatic per image do?
For A4 or Letter pages, it chooses landscape when an image is wider than or as wide as it is tall, and portrait when it is taller. This choice is made separately for each image. It changes the page orientation and does not detect or correct sideways content in a photo.
Will my images be cropped or stretched to fill a page?
No. On A4 or Letter, each image is scaled proportionally to fit inside the margins and centred on the page. This can leave extra space above and below or on either side. Portrait and Landscape set the page shape; they do not stretch the image.
How do margins affect the result?
Margin (points) accepts values from 0 to 72. For A4 or Letter, a larger margin leaves less space for the image. With Fit to image, it adds space around the image by increasing the PDF page dimensions. The same margin setting applies to every page.

Choose a page layout for your images
JPG to PDF accepts JPG and PNG images and places one image on each page in the displayed order. A4 and Letter fit each image proportionally inside the chosen margins and centre it without cropping. Automatic per image chooses landscape for wide or square images and portrait for tall images.
Fit to image makes each page follow its image dimensions, with the chosen margin added around it. This can produce pages of different sizes and disables the Orientation control. Choose A4 or Letter when you need standard paper dimensions; use a fixed orientation when every page should face the same way.

Combine three receipt photos

Tips for a useful result
- Margins are measured in PDF points: 72 points equal one inch, and the control accepts 0 to 72 points.
- A4 and Letter can leave extra space on two sides when the image and page proportions differ.
- Use the arrow buttons to set page order, and resize very large images first if they exceed the displayed image limits.
