Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. PDF parsing, creation, modification and rendering happen locally in your browser; your files never leave your device.

Can I use an encrypted PDF?

No. Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are rejected. Unlock a document only when you have the owner’s permission, then try again.

Why are there browser limits?

PDF operations can use several times the file size in memory. Conservative file, page and image limits keep the tools dependable on current mobile browsers.
