Install UtilSprout
Add UtilSprout to your home screen or desktop for quick access to your tools. It is a free web app installed through your browser, with the same tools and local file processing as this website.
Open the site in your browser, then follow the steps below. Menu names can vary by browser version. An installed icon does not mean offline setup has finished.
Chrome
Android
- Open UtilSprout in Chrome.
- Open the three-dot menu beside the address bar. Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. Some versions call this Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Confirm the browser's installation prompt, then open UtilSprout from its app icon.
Safari
iPhone or iPad
- Open UtilSprout in Safari.
- Open Share from the toolbar or More menu, then choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, look under Edit Actions.
- Turn on Open as Web App if that option appears, then tap Add. Open UtilSprout from your Home Screen.
Chrome or Microsoft Edge
Computer
- Open UtilSprout in Chrome or Edge and look for an install icon in the address bar.
- In Chrome, you can also open the three-dot menu, then Cast, save, and share, then Install page as app.
- In Edge, open Settings and more, then More tools, Apps, and Install this site as an app. Confirm the prompt to finish.
macOS Sonoma 14 or later
Mac with Safari
- Open UtilSprout in Safari.
- Choose File, then Add to Dock, or find Add to Dock in the Share menu.
- Keep the name UtilSprout and choose Add. Open the app from your Dock or Applications.
Before you go offline
Open the installed app online and let its first download of app files finish. Try the tools you need without a connection before relying on them offline. Browser storage can be cleared or removed when your device needs space, so cached tools may need to download again. For tools that create a file, use the download button to save your result.
Getting updates
Open UtilSprout online to check for updates. If you still see an older version, close the app and all UtilSprout browser tabs, then reopen it online.
Can't find an install option?
If you opened this page inside another app, open it in Chrome or Safari first. Some browsers or managed devices do not offer installation. You can still use all the tools in your browser or bookmark the website.
