- 2For a custom selection, fill in Custom pages, such as 1,3-5; leaving it blank selects every page. Choose the Rotation.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if Custom pages is left blank?
A blank Custom pages field selects every page, even when Pages is set to Custom range. To turn only certain pages, enter their numbers or ranges, such as 2,4-6, before selecting Rotate PDF. Overlapping or repeated page numbers are rejected.
Does the selected angle replace the page's existing rotation?
No. The angle is added clockwise to each selected page's existing rotation in the source PDF. For example, a page already rotated 90 degrees becomes 180 degrees when you apply another 90 degrees.
How do I rotate a page 90 degrees to the left?
Choose 270° clockwise in Rotation. That produces the same orientation as a 90 degree counterclockwise turn. Choose 180° for an upside-down page.
Will the download include pages I did not select?
Yes. The result contains the complete PDF. Only the selected pages receive the added rotation; unselected pages keep their current orientation. Custom range chooses which pages to turn, not which pages to keep.

Correct page orientation without changing page content
Select page thumbnails individually, choose all, odd or even pages, or enter ranges such as 1,3,5-8. Rotation buttons build a per-page plan that is visible in the thumbnails before you download.
The result writes rotation metadata into the copied PDF pages. It does not rasterize text or images, and it retains pages you did not select. Existing page rotation is combined with the new adjustment.
Worked example
Correct alternating scan pages
- Start with
- A 10-page PDF whose even pages are sideways.
- Choose
- Select Even, apply 90° clockwise, inspect the thumbnail labels and download.
- You get
- All 10 pages remain; pages 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 receive the additional rotation.
Tips for a useful result
- Counter-clockwise 90° is stored as a 270° clockwise turn.
- Reset rotations clears the pending plan without removing the file.
- A page thumbnail is a visual guide; the exported PDF keeps the source page data.
