Frequently asked questions
How is deleting pages different from splitting?
Deleting creates one copy without selected pages. Splitting creates separate PDFs from the pages or ranges you choose. Extracting usually means making a new file from selected pages rather than deleting them.
Can I remove every page?
No. A valid PDF needs at least one page, so the download stays disabled until one or more pages remain.
Does this modify my original PDF?
No. The browser reads the original and builds a separate download. Your selected source file is never overwritten.
Are page previews uploaded?
No. PDF.js renders thumbnails locally, and page removal runs in a local worker.

Delete pages while keeping a valid PDF
Deleting pages creates one new document containing every unselected page. Splitting creates one or more documents from selected ranges, while extracting usually means copying selected pages into a separate PDF. Choose the operation that matches what you need to keep.

Tips for a useful result
- Check the Removed count before downloading.
- Use Split PDF when you need the selected pages as their own files.
- Use Merge PDF afterward if separate documents need to be recombined.
Local editing limits
Encrypted PDFs are rejected. Complex forms, signatures and multimedia can be affected by any PDF rewrite; digital signatures may no longer validate after page changes.
